Nature is full of master tricksters! From chameleons that change color to animals that mimic others for survival, the art of disguise is everywhere in the wild. This week, campers will explore the science behind camouflage, mimicry, and deception in nature. Through hands-on experiments and creative projects, they’ll uncover the incredible ways plants and animals use disguise to hide, hunt, and survive in their environments.
🔹 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Creative Camp – Campers will explore the art of disguise in nature through creative activities, including art, science, and hands-on projects inspired by camouflage, animal mimicry, and natural illusions.
🔹 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Academic Extension – Campers will dive into nonfiction reading and writing about animals that use disguise, crafting their own fascinating fact-based stories. Math will be a review of any skills or standards children need to go before going back to school!
